THIS is the embarrassing moment a Google Street View car photographed itself breaking the law. Can you see the incriminating evidence?
The car’s camera captured the exact time it approached a speedometer while driving along a quiet residential street in Glasgow, Scotland.
The vehicle zipped round St George’s Road to the west of the city in July 2015, but nobody noticed the error until now, The Sun reports.
The car appeared to exceed the 30 miles per hour speed limit, according to the speedometer which reads 37mph.
The picture, which can still be viewed on Street View, caught the attention of Dutch cyclist Twan van Duivenbooden, who tweeted the image.
He wrote: “So it seems @google #Streetview car was doing 37mph on a 30mph street in #Glasgow #speeding.”
